Hano Center Gate Tower PTFE fabric Membrane Structure Project was completed by Canobbio in 2014.

The total area size is 3,080 sqm, it took our workers about 20 days to do the installation. When making the design, the client mentioned a few time that super typhoon would land in Zhuhai every year, so he wanted us to make a strong membrane structure not only pretty and attractive, but also can resist super typhoon. We do as they request, this gate tower membrane structure remains well even after several super typhoon landed in Zhuhai in past six years.

How to make tensile fabric building to resist super typhoon?

1. when making calculation of the structure, the engineer should consider the wind load of local typhoon;

2. the thickness and materials of the fabric should be chosen according to the designer's requirement;
